Tire Pressure Monitors

Postby GoldenDragon » Thu Oct 09, 2008 10:55 am

I see that several companies sell tire pressure monitors. The sensor replaces either the valve stem or screws into the valve stem. This monitor sends a signal to a readout on the dash of the bike or acts like an idot light and comes on if one of your tires loses pressure. Has anyone tried these? Do they work well? Do they actually give a readout of the tire pressure instead of idot lights?

I'm not sure Randi. Can you post a link to the company that's selling them?

Tire pressure monitors

One was called Tire Alert and the other I saw screwed in to the valve stem and had green yellow or red showing on the cap depending on your tire pressure. You can't check them on the fly but I sure like the ones on my GM vehicle.

Hi Randi,

Every thing I could find only had a LED on the stem.
