Howdy From Cottage Grove

Postby UBarW » Sun Jan 25, 2009 11:05 am

Greetings...

I live in Cottage Grove, and am currently on an 84 Aspencade gl1200. I have 118,500 glorious miles on her!

I am looking forward to the spring, its time to get some throttle therapy in. One thing I do that is fun for me, I have a Benchmark map of Oregon, and one of Washington. They are great maps, lots of detail. Everytime I ride a new road, I highlight it. Some guys look at girly pics for fun, for me, its looking at my maps! LOL

Best wishes!

Hi UBarW,

I'm Bill R the Chapter Director. I recognize your handle from Steve Saunder's site, am I correct?

I'm KZQuixote over there.

Welcome to the Cascade Range Riders' site!

We have meetings every second Saturday at Jake's Diner which is just East of Pilot Butte in Bend. Breakfast 8:30am Meeting at 9:15, or so, riding at 10:00am!

I'm presently struggling through a site upgrade so we've lost our calender and our photo album for the present. No data's lost, I've just got to set up a place to upload it to again.

Once Again, Welcome.

Yeah, its the same UBarW !

What a glorious state we live in. Up until the end of November, it was my intention to sell the wing and buy a weestrom so I could add all the blm roads to my list of routes.

But, the combination of an incompetent running my company and the downturn in the economy, I am out of work. Not a good time for that...

But, at least I have a bike that I love to ride! I have some repairs to do to it this spring, but I sure love riding it. After I get that work done, and the weather happy's up, I will come over and meet y'all. A buddy lives in Madras, so I would have two reasons to come over.

Be well, shiny side up!
